The State Government remains confident any hit to WA’s gas supply from a looming strike can be managed, ahead of Chevron squaring off with unions at the Fair Work Commission on Tuesday.
The commission will be asked to iron out a deal between workers and the petroleum giant under new laws which give the industrial relations umpire the power to step in if negotiations fail to yield a result within nine months.
