The Northern Territory has recorded two new COVID-19 cases with one of them being a health worker.
It comes as there is a particular concern over positive wastewater testing in the community of Binjari, on the outskirts of Katherine.
Authorities are expecting to test everyone within Binjari by the end of the day to get a glimpse into any significant transmission.
There are also concerns about close contacts identified in both Tennant Creek and the remote community of Yuendumu due to the low vaccination rates.
There are now 25 active COVID-19 cases in the state.
