- Visit heraldsun.com.au on a desktop computer and log in with your subscription details
- Navigate down to find the My Local section
- Click ‘change location’ to display a suburb and postcode search box
- Enter your postcode or suburb and select it from the drop-down menu
- That’s it. You can now see top stories from your area on the heraldsun.com.au homepage or easily click through for more local news
How to activate local news in the Herald Sun app
- Download or update to the latest version of the Herald Sun app
- Open the app and log in with your Herald Sun digital subscription details
- Scroll down the homescreen and navigate to the blue My Local News section
- Tap change location to display a suburb/postcode search
- Enter your postcode or suburb and select it from the drop-down menu
- You can now see top stories from your area or click through for more local news right from the Herald Sun app homescreen.
