Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the state has recorded 1,220 new local COVID cases and three deaths related to the outbreak.
“A man in his 50s, a woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s,” he said.
“We of course pass on our deepest condolences and our sympathies to their families and friends.”
Mr Andrews also revealed 51.9 per cent of Victorians aged 16 and over are fully vaccinated and 82.3 per cent have received one dose.
