Sunday's seven local cases brings local tally to 100 - Central Coast Community News

Sunday September 5, 2021: Seven local residents have tested positive to COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm Saturday night. Meanwhile 16 new exposure sites have been announced including Wyong Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Five of the seven local cases are linked to known cases. The source of infection for the other two cases is under investigation.

Five cases were in the community while infectious.

There have now been 100 local cases of COVID-19 in the Central Coast Local Health District since the start of the current outbreak

Exposure sites

Numerous new local sites have now been identified as exposure sites.

Close contacts

Anyone who attended the hospital ED at the times below is considered a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days since they were there, regardless of the result.

    • Thursday 2 September 8.45pm to 11.59pm.

Casual contacts

Anyone who attended the following venues on the dates and times listed is regarded a casual contact. Casual contacts must immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result, even if they have had a test in recent days:
