The Northern Territory has recorded one new local COVID-19 case in the past 24-hour period.
No new cases have been reported in the town of Tennant Creek, which entered a snap lockdown yesterday after four local COVID infections were recorded.
There are 26 people being transferred to Darwin to quarantine after being identified as close contacts of two COVID cases reported in the community of Yulara yesterday.
