PRE-POLL voting in the upcoming local government election opens on Monday, November 22, with people encouraged to vote early due to COVID-19. Seven pre-poll centres will open their doors from Monday, with applications for postal voting already open, and technology-assisted online and telephone voting platform iVote available for the first time to voters who meet eligibility criteria. "We know COVID-19 has been driving people to consider their voting options. Voter safety is paramount, as is ensuring every eligible voter in NSW has a chance to have their voice heard," NSW Electoral Commissioner John Schmidt said. Voters can bring their own pens and must check in using the Service NSW QR codes, and follow any NSW Health advice." The local government (council) election is on Saturday, December 4, but you can vote early at the following locations. Operating hours at all locations are 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday. • Brookvale - Warringah Mall Community Room, 145 Old Pittwater Road
• Dee Why - Salvation Army Hall, 1 Fisher Road.
• Manly - St Matthew's Anglican Church, 1 Darley Road.
• Mona Vale - Mona Vale Memorial Hall, Pittwater Road.
  
• Narrabeen - South Narrabeen Surf Life Saving Club, 1200 Pittwater Road
