More exposure sites announced in Queensland
The Queensland border town of Goondiwindi has been placed on alert with more COVID-19 exposure sites set to be announced.
It comes after three new locally acquired cases were detected on the border, two of them infectious in the community for days.
Two of the cases were unvaccinated while the third had one dose of the vaccine.
Premier Annastacaia Palaszczuk said to expect the list to be updated with more sites later in the day.
You can click here for the full list of Queensland exposure sites.

Moree had 33 new cases today
Earlier, we heard from NSW Deputy Chief Health Officer Marianne Gale, who says there were concerns about an increase in cases in Moree.
Today there were 103 new cases in the Hunter New England Local Health District, which covers Moree as part of its huge area:
Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall says Moree's new cases are all linked to a large funeral held last week.
"It is expected the Moree cluster will continue to grow, but thankfully, none of the COVID-positive people locally have had to be hospitalised," he said in a Facebook post.
"Extra health staff from across the region have arrived in Moree to support additional testing and vaccinations in the community."
A COVID ward has been established at the local hospital with eight beds available and motel acommodation has been set up for people who may struggle to isolate at home.
Two of the cases are in the border community of Boggabilla, which has a double-dose vaccination rate less than 40 per cent.
Here are the testing sites for the Moree Plains Shire:
- Boggabilla Community Health Centre (Monday-Thursday) — 9am-3.30pm
- Moree hospital (Tuesday-Friday) — 8.30am-3pm
- Moree Gateway Swab Clinic (Tuesday-Friday) — 8-4
- Moree Respiratory Clinic Pius X AMS (Tuesday-Friday) — 8.30am-3pm
- Mungindi Pius X Building Walker Street (Tuesday-Wednesday) — 10am-12pm

Here's what we know about NSW's four new deaths:
- A 38-year-old woman from western Sydney died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She was not vaccinated and had underlying health conditions.
- A man in his 80s died at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He was a resident of the Greek Orthodox Community Home for the Aged in Earlwood, where he contracted the virus.
- A person in their 70s who had not been vaccinated.
- A person in their 80s who had been fully vaccinated.

And here's that geographic breakdown of cases in NSW:
Let's break those 308 new local cases into Local Health Districts (LHD):
- 103 from Hunter New England
- 53 from South Western Sydney
- 36 from Murrumbidgee
- 20 from Sydney
- 17 from South Eastern Sydney
- 16 from Western Sydney
- 14 from Mid North Coast
- 12 from Nepean Blue Mountains
- Eight from Illawarra Shoalhaven
- Seven from Northern Sydney
- Seven from Western NSW
- Five from Northern NSW
- Two from Southern NSW
- One from Central Coast
- And seven are unassigned to an LHD
FYI: Yesterday the Hunter New England LHD had just 35 new cases.
On Tuesday, there were 64 cases and on Monday there were 30.

NSW Health calls for higher vaccination rates in Moree
NSW Deputy Cheif Health Officer Marianne Gale says there's been an increase in cases in Moree — which is part of the Hunter New England Local Health District:
"I particularly encourage anyone who lives in the area of Moree to be particularly vigilant.
"If you have even the mildest of symptoms, please get tested.
"And we particularly want to see even high vaccination rates in the Moree area.
"So if you live in Moree and you haven't yet got vaccinated — either your first dose or second dose — please, now is the time.
"I'd like to particularly encourage members of the Aboriginal communities living in and around Moree because we are seeing some cases among Aboriginal people in those areas.
"So, please, for the Aboriginal community in that area, please be extra vigilant for symptoms and please come forward for vaccination."

Wastewater detections in regional NSW
NSW Health says traces of the virus have been detected in wastewater samples from:
- Holbrook
- Merimbula
- West Wyalong
- Manilla
- Uralla
There are no known cases in those areas, so NSW Health is urging everyone in those areas to be "extra vigilant" in watching out for symptoms — and, of course, go and get tested if they notice symptoms.

NT Health Minister: Booster shots are important, but not mandatory
Booster vaccines will be available to NT residents this Monday.
The NT government implemented a vaccine mandate for public-facing workers, requiring the first dose to be administered before November 13.
But NT Health Minister Natasha Fyles says right now there are no plans to mandate boosters.
"The mandatory aspect that comes into the Northern Territory from the 13th of November is around a first dose, and on the 24th of December the second dose.
"In terms of the booster shot, there's been no criteria around mandating that, but we do envisage going forward that booster shots will be important."
