Queensland has recorded one new COVID-19 case with no link to any existing clusters in the state.
A woman in her 50s from Brisbane’s north has tested positive after being infectious in the community for up to 10 days.
She was fully vaccinated against COVID, and all household members have returned a negative test.
Additionally in response to New South Wales’ Lismore LGA being plunged into a seven-day lockdown on Sunday, the Queensland government has introduced new restrictions on travel to the area from 1am local time.
Queenslanders who choose to travel to Lismore will be unable to return to the Sunshine State.
