Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says there has been one new local COVID-19 case recorded in the state.
The new case is “part of the Beenleigh cluster,” Premier Palaszczuk said during a media conference on Thursday.
“It’s the 10 year old brother of that four year old boy in Beenleigh – so it was detected in home quarantine.”
Ms Palaszczuk said there are 21 active cases in the state.
