InterSystems has appointed former Orion Health vice president of services Brian Biggs as its new director of customer relations and sales for New Zealand.
Based in Auckland, Mr Biggs will be involved in the oversight of the New Zealand operations of InterSystems, which has signed a number of new customers recently along with major client MercyAscot.
Mr Biggs will report to InterSystems’ country manager for Australia and New Zealand, Darren Jones.
He has a technology career spanning over 15 years and has spent most of the last decade leading regional and global delivery teams to deliver complex technology programs within the healthcare industry, InterSystems says.
He was previously services director for New Zealand and later vice president of services and chief operating officer for hospitals in the Asia Pacific region for Orion Health.
He then took up a role as chief operating officer for New Zealand digital payments company Centrapay.
