ACT records 17 new local COVID cases - Sky News Australia

The Australian Capital Territory records 17 new local cases of COVID-19 as Canberra enters four more weeks of lockdown.

There are eight people with the virus in hospital and two are in intensive care, with one requiring ventilation.

The ACT maintains the highest jab rate in the country with 54.1 per cent of its population over 12 now fully vaccinated.

The territory’s health minister said the government will begin reporting vaccination rates for the population over 12 in daily reporting from tomorrow rather than the 16 and over percentage used elsewhere.

Bookings will open for 12-15 year olds at mass vaccination clinics in the ACT from tomorrow.

Adblock test (Why?)
