ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says the territory has recorded 15 new local COVID cases and urges residents to maintain COVID safe practices while enjoying the spring weather.
“Yesterday was probably the warmest day of the spring so far and there were thousands of people outside enjoying that great weather,” he said.
“It’s not quite so good today but certainly still reasonably large crowds. What we are advising is to keep your distance from other groups and other people.
“Wearing masks and staying physically distant is the safest way that you can enjoy the outdoors at this time.”
