Victoria has notched up its fifth consecutive day with no new locally acquired COVID-19 cases, as more GPs join the Pfizer vaccine rollout.
The state processed 20,690 test results on Sunday, and 13,086 vaccine doses were delivered at state-run sites.
The City of Brisbane, Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast in Queensland remain as Victorian red zones, as does Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Shellharbour and Wollongong in New South Wales.
New South Wales has recorded 35 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases, while Queensland has recorded four.
Victoria's Acting Chief Health Officer Dan O'Brien said only five active cases of coronavirus that were locally acquired remain.
"Therefore, our risk radar is still focused on inbound arrivals from interstate,” he said.
There are 18 active cases of the virus in hotel quarantine in Victoria.
He said of primary close contacts for a Sandringham dry cleaners outbreak linked to New South Wales, 32 per cent had been cleared.
All primary close contacts linked to an outbreak at the Epping Private Hospital have been cleared, and six primary close contacts linked to the Tanami mine in the Northern Territory remain in quarantine and have returned negative test results.
On Sunday, Health Minister Martin Foley stressed the importance of every person returning from an orange or red zone to get tested and quarantine as required.
Several restrictions remain in Victoria, including caps on gatherings, masks indoors and density limits across business and community facilities.
Those restrictions are expected to stay in place until at least 11:59pm Thursday, but the government is yet to outline what rules might be eased from then.
Around 500 GPs across Australia are now part of the Pfizer rollout, which will expand once more shipments of the vaccine arrive.
