No new local COVID-19 cases in Queensland - 9News

There have been no new local cases of COVID-19 recorded in Queensland in the last day from more than 14,000 tests.

There were also no cases detected in hotel quarantine.

Acting Premier Steven Miles said the Queensland woman may have been infectious since July 11 and crewed six flights travelling between Brisbane, Gladstone, Longreach and Hervey Bay.

The flight attendant has the Delta variant of the virus, which Queensland Health has linked to the Sydney outbreak.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Jeanette Young said the woman is in her 30s and lives in Banyo, in Brisbane's north.

But so far, no new cases have been linked to her infection.

There remains 21 active cases.
