Time is running out to nominate a member of your community for a 2021 RFDS Local Hero Award. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) is inviting Queenslanders to recognise selfless community members who have gone above and beyond with the 2020 North West Queensland award going to the Gregory QCWA for their tireless work helping the Flying Doctor. Nominations for the awards close Monday April 12. RFDS (Queensland Section) CEO Meredith Staib said your "local hero" could be a volunteer, fundraiser, first responder or even a healthcare advocate.
