After further virus patients were discharged from the state’s hospitals overnight, the number of active cases in Queensland dropped to 72 on Sunday.

“[There were] no new locally acquired community cases, which is wonderful,” Ms D’Ath said. “We had 14,011 tests on Easter Saturday.

“Thank you to all those people who are still coming out and getting tested.

“The clinics are still open today and tomorrow, so if you are feeling unwell, please go get your test, then stay home and wait for your results.”
