Happy former West Coast star Ben Cousins spotted at local Perth footy match - PerthNow

Fallen AFL star Ben Cousins has been spotted at a local Perth footy game, creating a buzz for both players and fans.

Cousins ventured out to watch the Queens Park Bulldogs in the Metro Football League today.

Cousins had his trademark cheeky grin and was more than happy to oblige when a young footy fan worked up the courage to ask for a photo.

He headed into the Bulldogs’ huddles and into the rooms at half-time and happily posed for photos with fans on the sidelines.

Sporting a new clean-cut look with a shaved head and no facial hair, Cousins was in good spirits and looked fit, healthy and happy when he spoke to The West Australian.

Cousins hasn’t played at any level since his AFL retirement in 2010 after 270 appearances for West Coast (238) and Richmond (32).
